ASUS ZENFONE 2 : Auto and HDR Mode comparison
the previous zenfone series HDR do not have much effect on the image quality but this time it can be noticed that how good the Asus zenfones 2 camera performs in the HDR (backlight) mode and also Asus also said that it has the best HDR and Auto mode among other flagship devices as you can see in the above image.
Samples Images :
from the above samples you can easily see that Asus had done a great job in capturing good images in both HDR and Auto mode and it can also be seen that in HDR mode the camera had improved then the camera of previous generation zenfone.
Pixel Master low light mode
the most famous thing about the pixel master camera which the Asus brags about is its special pixel merging technology in its pixel master camera which provides 400% brighter images and color contrast up to 200% more with the help of its software , hardware and optical design . this technology stands up to the mark and it really helps in better images in extreme low light conditions in which no other smartphones can do so . it is only possible due to Asus pixel master optical design which made possible for the light receptors to merge to catch more light but the only issue is that the image produced depends in MegaPixel count i.e a 5MP camera produces 1MP image,8MP cam produces 2MP image and in the case of zenfone 2 13MP camera it produces 3MP image.
Sample Images in Low Light Mode:
from the above images you can easily see the performance of the special low light mode of the pixel master camera introduced by Asus and it really stands up to the pixel master camera motto “SEE WHAT OTHERS CAN’T SEE”

Indoor image with artificial lighting
from the above images you can see that the Asus zenfone 2 13 MP rear camera had done a great job capturing images with both good details and colour production , there were some noise in the indoor shots but they still came out to be very good and special the DOF shoot was very great.
Front camera images 5 MP (4:3 Aspect Ratio)
the front camera performed well and its a good thing that the zenfone 2 front cam supports the low light mode which can be good for selfie lovers who can take selfies in extreme low light conditions
both the rear and front pixel master cameras stands up to the mark and have done a great job . the images taken in outdoor were great and have good amount of detailing with minimum noise in the outdoor shots the noise levels were not too much but are visible also the low light mode is a good addition and works great for capturing images in extreme low light conditions .
There are several modes in the software like the selfie mode, beautification,DOF but the most useful ones i liked was the manual mode which helps you to adjust settings like ISO, exposure, shutter speed, white balance . the zenfone two also supports an ultra resolution mode which captures 4 images of object from its 13 MP cam and stitch them together to form a single 52 MP image with high details so you can crop them easily.
