Gionee announces their flagship device of its Elife S series the Gionee Elife S7 . The Gionee Elife S7 is one of the slimest device you can buy . The Gionee Elife S7 comes with a 5.2 inch , 1920 by 1080 full HD Amoled display which helps in better colour saturation and deeper blacks , with the pixel density of 424 the images will be quite sharp . As for the external design goes it is quite similar to the previous S5.5 but without the camera bump up . This device is protected by corning gorilla glass 3 on both back and rear . For the built quality this a unibody design with aluminium and magnesium alloy frame providing premium feel in the hand and with 5.5mm slimness this device is hot as hell and with around 79% screen to body ratio the device can be used with one hand thanks thin bezels.
In processing department the device packs a MediaTek SOC with is MT6752 64-bit octa-core CPU cloaked at 1.7 GHZ with 8 x A53 cores working at the same time. In the graphics department this device comes with a MALI T-760 MP2 GPU and with 2 GB of ram for making multitasking a breeze. The main con we have with this device is its storage the phone comes with only 16 GB storage option with no option of memory expansion due to with it can be difficult for users which uses to store enormous data on their device. now coming to the camera this is the real thing in which Gionee had really improved because in previous S5.5 the 13 MP camera was protruding out because of its optical design so it can’t be fit in but this time GIONEE came with new optical design making it easier for them to put in the 13 MP camera moduole without the camera bump so hats Off to Gionee for this and coming to the front the phone comes with a 8MP front shooter which is quite good for selfie lovers. in the software department the Gionee S7 runs on Gionee custom Amigo UI 3.0 which is the latest version build own Android lollipop so it is Gionee first device running on android 5.0 .
Coming to the battery the Gionee S7 comes with 2,700Mah battery which is decent and also ultra power saving features in the device are also available which is a plus point and the company had promised that the device would last for 2 days which will be tested when this device is easily available.
As for connectivity this device comes with bluetooth and wifi but not NFC and the device supports LTE bands which is the required one feature .
The device is priced for RS 24,999 which is little over priced but considering the stylish look this would be ok price but storage option is still a mess .
